Purpose
To lead the research, design, development, and implementation of new products while supporting manufacturing, documentation, sales, and operational efforts. This role ensures innovative, efficient, and high-quality product solutions that align with business objectives.

Specific Responsibilities
Research & Development

Work with directors, engineers, and clients to refine product ideas and improve processes for safety and efficiency.
Product Design & Prototyping
-
Lead product, prototype, and mould design with a focus on functionality, manufacturability, and durability.

Coordinate with external partners and internal teams for precision fabrication.

Conduct risk assessments, oversee demoulding, and refine designs based on feedback.

Lead and adjust the design of concrete formliner/mat, optimizing durability and performance to ensure high-quality delivery.
Documentation & Process Development

Develop SOPs, DWG files, PDFs, and 3D AutoCAD models/renderings.
Yard Optimization
-
Design efficient yard layouts for production and logistics.
Sales & Production Support

Provide visualizations, custom designs, and technical data to support sales and production.
Additional Responsibilities

Secure equipment certifications and conduct site visits.

Negotiate with external partners on manufacturing processes and asset management.

Manage office layout planning, renovations, and cost assessments.

Functional Relationships (internal)

Directors – Collaborate on product development and business strategies.

Structural Civil Engineer – Define design boundaries and technical requirements.

Production Supervisor & Yard Manager – Gather feedback for design improvements.

Welding & Fabrication Team – Oversee mould production and construction precision.
