Stonebloc types and when to use them.

This article outlines the range of Stonebloc block types and sizes and when and how to use each type to deliver the best solution.

The Stonebloc wall system consists of 11 different blocks. Each block is a variation of the two core sizes - 800 and 400. Refer to the design guide for more information on when to use each block.

General Design Guidance:

As a general rule;

  • The top layer of a Stonebloc wall will consist of a Capper or Flat top to ensure a smooth finish to the wall.
  • The second layer will consist of a 400 wide standard block.
  • The subsequent layers will consist of base blocks of varying sizes depending on the height and surcharge on the wall.
